TIME TO SHARE: I actually thought about the potential of bubble-wrap clothing a couple of years ago. (I like clothes. And I like bubble-wrap. It seemed like a good combination. And far better than capitalising on my love for penguins.) But I gave up. Because who would buy bubble-wrap clothing? How would you sew through plastic without ripping it? How could you convince people that a wrap-around skirt you had made was something they would be unable to recreate by themselves. And also, because of the shelf-life; once popped, you’d just be wearing dead plastic. And in a trouser-suit or skirt, such poppage would be inevitable. This company seem to get enough interested parties, however, to indicate that the poppage is worth it. And that people are always willing to buy see-through wipe-down clothing…
